MATCH RECAPS
It was any team's edge to take in the first flight as each court two and four went to three sets.  Simone Priebe and McKenna Thomas gained the first advantage with a 21-16 first set win and though fell 21-18 in the second set, were able to grit out a 15-13 third set win to put the Waves on the board first.  Though Pepperdine forced a third on court four, Beach was able to take a 15-10 third set win to even things up heading into the second flight.

LBSU worked ahead on courts three and five in the second flight, eventually taking two-set victories to clinch the overall dual.  Though the Waves on court one won in the first set, the opposition countered with a second and third set win for the 4-1 overall dual result.
