Hoff on choosing Pepperdine: "I chose to attend Pepperdine because of the great importance of academics, sense of community, amazing basketball program, and the beautiful location. The coaches I have been able to meet and grow closer to have shown nothing but support and have made me feel extremely valued. The great sense of community within the athletics and school seems overwhelmingly positive and a great source of support. I can't wait to become a Wave!"

Dowling on Hoff: "Hailey is a scorer and shooter who can hit from deep. She will bring a competitive scorer's mentality to our team. We are thrilled to add a young woman of her caliber to our roster."

Marly Walls – 5-foot-8 – Point Guard

Walls spent four seasons with the Bison playing in 91 games and collecting 493 points over four years. She was a one-time Patriot League Rookie of the Week during her freshman season. Walls and the Bison were regular season champions in the 2018-19 season and made an NCAA Tournament appearance. During the 2020 season, Walls won another Patriot League regular-season title. Walls made the 2021 Patriot League All-Defensive Team and Patriot League All-Academic Team and is a four-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recipient.

Walls was named team captain of the 2022 squad and averaged 7.6 points per game, 4.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists. She had career highs in her senior season in assists (116), rebounds (149), blocks (five), steals (55) and points (257). In high school, Walls was an All-State selection in Kentucky for Nelson County High School. She scored over 2,000 points during her career and was named Fifth Region Player of the Year.

Walls on choosing Pepperdine: "I chose Pepperdine because of the team's mission. In my last year of eligibility, I wanted a program that was devoted to the grind of a winning culture on and off the floor and Pepperdine delivers that. The girls, as well as the coaching staff, made me feel comfortable from the moment I got on campus. Pepperdine also offers the opportunity to get a top-notch education in a beautiful landscape that other schools cannot compare to."

Dowling on Walls: "Marly brings veteran guard experience to our squad. She brings steady leadership and a winner's mentality. We are excited to add a young woman of her caliber and experience."

Hoff and Walls finish out the 2022 recruiting class joining incoming freshmen KK Brodie and Drea Brumfield, and Cornell grad transfer Theresa Grace (TG) Mbanefo.
