MALIBU, California – A new partnership between Pepperdine Athletics and Pirnia Law Group will result in two programs – the Pirnia Law Group Community Corner and the Community Assist Program -- benefitting both Pepperdine and the local community.
 
Pirnia Law Group recently joined the Waves as an "Official Attorney Sponsor of Pepperdine Athletics." The multi-year partnership was secured by Van Wagner, which manages the Pepperdine Athletics sponsorship program.
 
The Pirnia Law Group Community Corner is an initiative that will invite local schools, youth groups, charity organizations and underserved youth to attend Pepperdine men's basketball games at Firestone Fieldhouse. The Community Assist Program will benefit the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. For every assist that the men's basketball team collects during West Coast Conference play in 2022, Pirnia Law Group will donate $150 to the law school to a maximum of $25,000. The proceeds from this season will directly benefit the Career Network Support Program, which provides additional networking opportunities for students to meet and engage with professionals in a variety of industries across the country.
 
After four WCC games, the Waves have a total of 60 assists, good for a $9,000 donation so far.
 
"We are very thankful for this new partnership with Pirnia Law Group," Pepperdine Director of Athletics Dr. Steve Potts said. "These are exciting new initiatives that will benefit the Athletics Department and the Caruso School of Law through their financial support, and help grow our fan base by giving deserving local organizations the opportunity to attend our basketball games."
 
Ardy Pirnia, Principal/Founder of Pirnia Law Group, said: "It's been a dream of mine to return to the school where I earned my Juris Doctorate and learned about the law first – Pepperdine University and the Caruso School of Law. I pledge to give the school unconditional support and my services as long as my firm is practicing."
