MALIBU, Calif. – Reese Alexiades and Billy Cook of the Pepperdine baseball team were named to the All-West Coast Conference first team, the league office announced on Wednesday.
 
The last time the Waves have named multiple athletes to the first team was 2018. Pepperdine has accomplished the same feat 39 times throughout the program's history.
 
Alexiades (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Mira Costa HS) led all WCC players with a .389 batting average, collecting 51 hits including seven home runs, seven doubles and one triple. He also had 29 RBI on the year. His 1.099 OPS was second on the team, and he led the team with a .281 on-base percentage. This is Alexiades' first ever postseason honor.
 
Cook (Monument, Colo./Lewis Palmer HS) led the WCC with 17 home runs and was third in the conference with 42 RBI. On the team, his 1.111 OPS ranked first, and his 42 RBI ranked second. Cook also had a team-leading slugging percentage (.725) and was second on the team in total bases (95). The honor is Cook's first postseason honor.
