FAIRFAX, California – Thirty-six holes were played on Monday at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, and the Pepperdine women's golf team stands in ninth place at the end of the day.
The Waves shot 614 (306-308) at the par-72 Meadow Club.
PLAYER SCORES
- Senior Megan Dennis (Bedfordshire, United Kingdom) is tied for 32nd place at 153 (74-79). She had an eagle on the par-5 9th hole in the second round. She had two birdies in the afternoon and one in the morning.
- Freshman Lion Higo (Gold Coast, Australia) is also tied for 32nd at 153 (76-77). She had four birdies in the first round and one in the second.
- Sophomore Reese Guzman (Kahului, Hawai'i) is tied for 39th at 155 (81-74). She had seven birdies on the day, five in the afternoon.
- Freshman Caroline Hwang (Orlando, Fla.) is tied for 50th at 158 (80-78). Four of her six birdies came in the second round.
- Freshman Kaleiya Romero (San Jose, Calif.) is also tied for 50th at 158 (76-82). She had two birdies in the morning.
UP NEXT
For Tuesday's third and final round, the Waves will be paired with California and Fresno State and they'll start on the 10th tee at 8:26 a.m. Rain is the forecast for Tuesday.
