MALIBU, Calif. – The Pepperdine women's basketball team looks to win its second West Coast Conference game of the year as it takes on San Diego on Monday afternoon.

LAST WEEK: The Waves got their first WCC win of the year against PCH Cup rival Loyola Marymount on Saturday. Jayla Ruffus-Milner got an inbound pass from Kendyl Carson with six seconds left in a tie game and sank a layup to put the Waves in the win column in WCC play, defeating the Lions 51-49. Pepperdine also played BYU on Tuesday, falling to the Cougars 57-43.
SERIES VS. SAN DIEGO: The Waves have a 48-38 overall record against the Toreros. In the year's first meeting, San Diego defeated Pepperdine 70-45 in San Diego.
HOME ATTENDANCE: Per the current COVID-19 guidelines set by the state of California and Los Angeles County, fans will not be permitted to attend home games in Firestone Fieldhouse.
