Adam Csapo will join the Pepperdine men's water polo team next year after recently signing a national letter-of-intent, head coach
Terry Schroeder announced today.

Has been part of the Hungarian National Team system since the age of 8 ... With his club teams, UVSE Hunguest Hotels and KSI SE, has been a two-time Hungarian champion and a two-time Hungarian Cup winner ... Also has a silver medal from the Hungarian Championships ... Also won a Hungarian Division 2 championship ... Attended BME International Secondary Grammar School ... His father, Csapo Istvan, had a long and successful water polo career with Szeged.
Schroeder says: "We are excited to bring Adam into our Wave family. He is a dynamic player that can play either side of the pool and will have a huge impact on our team both offensively and defensively. Adam has played at the highest level of water polo in Hungary and his experience and skills will make our team better and more competitive."
Csapo says: "Pepperdine was the place I knew I wanted to attend and pursue my water polo career since the day I decided to study in the United States. I somehow always knew that I would live in California. So when I had to make the decision, Malibu seemed like the ideal place for me to be. Finally, the coaching staff and their straightforwardness made me decide that I wanted to become a part of the Waves' family."
