FAIRFAX, California – Megan Dennis and
Kathrine Chan turned in top-20 finishes as the Pepperdine women's golf team moved up a spot to take sixth place at the Juli Inkster Invitational on Tuesday.
The Waves posted a two-day score of 892 (299-297-296) at the par-72 Meadow Club.
PLAYER SCORES
- Junior Megan Dennis (Bedfordshire, United Kingdom/Florida Tech) tied for 11th place at 220 (75-75-70). It's her first career top-20 finish with the Waves. Her 2-under final round included four birdies. She was one of only six players in the field to go under-par today.
- Sophomore Kathrine Chan (Richmond, B.C., Canada) tied for 18th at 223 (77-73-73). She had three birdies today. It was her first top-20 finish of the season.
- Senior Momoka Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) tied for 29th at 225 (75-73-77). She had three birdies in the final round.
- Sophomore Sifan He (Shanghai, China) tied for 37th at 228 (74-76-78). She had one birdie today.
- Freshman Reese Guzman (Kahului, Hawai'i/Maui HS) tied for 37th at 228 (75-77-76). She had two birdies on Tuesday.
