SAN LUIS OBISPO, California – Momoka Kobori is tied for 13th place to lead the Pepperdine women's golf team after Monday's first two rounds of the Bruin Wave Invitational.
The Waves are in 10th place after scoring a 620 (312-308) at the par-72 San Luis Obispo Country Club.

- Senior Momoka Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) is tied for 13th at 149 (73-76). She had three birdies in each round.
- Freshman Alexa Melton (Covina, Calif./South Hills HS) is tied for 34th at 154 (80-74). She had two birdies in each round.
- Junior Megan Dennis (Bedfordshire, United Kingdom/Florida Tech) is tied for 46th at 158 (80-78). Her second round included an eagle on the par-5 seventh hole and two birdies, and she had one birdie in the first round.
- Freshman Reese Guzman (Kahului, Hawai'i/Maui HS) is tied for 50th at 159 (79-80).
- Sophomore Sifan He (Shanghai, China) is tied for 57th at 163 (80-83).
- Playing as an individual, sophomore Kathrine Chan (Richmond, B.C., Canada) is tied for 53rd at 161 (81-80). She had one birdie in each round.
UP NEXT
The third and final round is Tuesday. Pepperdine is paired with Washington State and CSUN and the schools will start on the 10th tee at 8:25 a.m.
