MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The now 8-0 Pepperdine men's tennis team dismantled 29
th-ranked Minnesota on Sunday following yet another
Tim Zeitvogel clinch point.
STREAKING WAVES
The Waves are still rolling on their best start to a season since 2006, when the program won a national title. Zeitvogel and
Adrian Oetzbach also kept their records clean, as Oetzbach has not lost a dual singles match this season and Zeitvogel has remained unblemished in dual singles action since last March.

RECAP
Pepperdine kicked off the win in doubles, where
Adrian Oetzbach and
Daniel De Jonge saw the first success for the Waves with a 6-4 win on court one.
Corrado Summaria and
Tim Zeitvogel followed suit on two, winning 7-5 to clinch the doubles point for Pepperdine.
In singles,
Robert Shelton struck first, defeating Bodin Zarkovic 6-4, 6-1 on court six to put the Waves up 2-1 early in the match. The Gophers saw a bit of a comeback, stealing wins on courts one and two before Oetzbach delivered the next blow, going 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 on court three over Siim Troost to remain unbeaten on the season and put the overall score at 3-2.
It was Zeitvogel once again who clinched the match for the Waves and remained undefeated himself (since March of 2019), winning 7-6, 7-5 on court four to seal the win for Pepperdine.
Enrique Luque Rico was last to finish but certainly not least, as he defeated Minnesota's Eli Ogilvy on court five 7-6, 5-7 and then going 10-6 in the super breaker to put the final score at 5-2 on the day.
