NORMAN, Oklahoma – The Pepperdine women's golf team is through two rounds at the NCAA Norman Regional after Tuesday and has one more to go.
The Waves dropped to 15th place with a two-day total of 608 (299-309) at the par-72 Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club. Only the top six teams will advance to the NCAA Championships.
Pepperdine is making its 21st consecutive NCAA Regional appearance and is attempting to qualify for nationals for the 13th time.
PLAYER SCORES
- Senior Hira Naveed (Perth, Australia) is tied for 33rd place at 147 (71-76). She had two birdies on Tuesday.
- Junior Momoka Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) is tied for 55th at 151 (73-78). She had one birdie.
- Senior Patricia Wong (Walnut, Calif./Walnut HS) is tied for 76th at 155 (78-77). She had one birdie.
- Senior Hannah Haythorne (Honolulu, Hawai'i/IMG Academy) is in 85th at 160 (82-78). She had two birdies today.
- Freshman Kathrine Chan (Richmond, B.C., Canada) is tied for 86th at 161 (77-84). She had one birdie.

For Wednesday's third and final round, a shotgun start will go off at 9 a.m. CT. The Waves will be paired with Texas A&M, UTSA and UNC Wilmington.
