FAIRFAX, California – The Pepperdine women's golf team stands in sixth place after Monday's first two rounds of the Juli Inkster Invitational.
The Waves shot 583 (286-297) at the par-72 Meadow Club today. They posted a score of 2-under in the morning round.

- Senior Hira Naveed (Perth, Australia) is tied for 12th with a 1-over 145 (70-75). She had three birdies during her 2-under morning round, then had one more in the afternoon.
- Senior Patricia Wong (Walnut, Calif./Walnut HS) is also tied for 12th at 145 (70-75). Her first-round 2-under included six birdies, featuring four in a five-hole stretch on the back nine, and she had one more in the afternoon.
- Junior Momoka Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) is tied for 21st at 147 (72-75). She had four birdies during her even-par round.
- Freshman Kathrine Chan (Richmond, B.C., Canada) is also tied for 21st at 147 (74-73). She had a total of five birdies on the day.
- Senior Hannah Haythorne (Honolulu, Hawai'i/IMG Academy) is tied for 27th at 149 (75-74). She had four birdies over the two rounds.
- Playing as an individual, freshman Sifan He (Shanghai, China) is tied for 44th at 152 (74-78). She had three birdies total.
UP NEXT
The third and final round is Tuesday. The Waves will be paired up with San Jose State and California and they'll start between holes 4 and 7 in a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
