WAVEPOINTS
• The Pepperdine men's basketball team still has hopes of a first-round bye at the upcoming West Coast Conference Championships, but must win in its regular-season and home finale against Pacific on Saturday evening.
• The Waves also need help: BYU must beat San Diego in Provo and San Francisco must beat LMU at USF. This combination would give Pepperdine the #6 seed.
• A Pacific win on Saturday would guarantee a rematch in next Thursday's first round.
• Saturday is also Senior Night and the Waves' will honor Eric Cooper Jr. and Darnell Dunn in a pregame ceremony.
• Colbey Ross is fifth in the WCC in scoring (18.7) and first in assists (7.4). Nationally, he's fourth in assists and third in both free throws made (204) and attempted (241).
• Ross set school single-season records for assists and free throws made last weekend, and two more milestones are well within reach on Saturday. He needs nine points to become the 42nd Wave to score 1,000 career points, and he needs one assist to tie Doug Christie for #5 on the Waves' all-time list with 395.
• Eric Cooper Jr. has made 72 three-pointers this season, tied for sixth on Pepperdine's single-season list. He's third in the WCC in both accuracy (42.1%) and makes (2.5).
• Among WCC freshmen, Kessler Edwards ranks first in rebounding, third in scoring and third in blocked shots. He recently set a Pepperdine freshman record with six steals at Gonzaga.
• Since moving back into the starting lineup, Darnell Dunn has scored in double-figures all four games, has averaged 14.3 points and is coming off a career-high-tying 18 points vs. Portland.
• Jadé Smith has scored in double-figures each of the last three games and is averaging 12.3 points in that time.
• Lorenzo Romar has helped elevate the Waves as he begins his second stint as head coach. He recorded his milestone 400th career victory on January 12 at San Diego. He's led the Waves to double-digit wins for the first time since 2015-16.

TICKETS — Single-game tickets for most Pepperdine home games are $25 for reserved seating, $15 for adult general admission and $12 for child general admission. Select premium games are $30, $20 and $12, respectively. Tickets are available via PepperdineWaves.com or by calling (310) 506-4935.

PEPPERDINE — Pepperdine boasts a one-of-a-kind athletic department with unprecedented success for a school of its size. The Waves have won NCAA Division I championships in five different men's sports — one of just 18 schools to have accomplished this feat — and nine overall. Of this elite group, Pepperdine has the smallest undergraduate enrollment, is the only school without football and is the only university that has not been affiliated with a "major" conference. The Waves have won a total of 25 team or individual national championships in their history. Pepperdine has also earned the Division I-AAA All-Sports Trophy, an award based on postseason success that's given to the top non-football school, three times (most recently in 2011-12). The Waves have produced 205 conference championships, 318 All-Americans and 53 Olympians. Located in scenic Malibu, California, the university overlooks the Pacific Ocean and its campus and athletic facilities are regularly voted among the nation's most beautiful. Pepperdine, which is affiliated with the Church of Christ, ranks #46 overall on U.S. News and World Report's list of America's best colleges.
