SAN LUIS OBISPO, California – The 10th annual Bruin Wave Invitational got underway on Monday for the Pepperdine women's golf team with the first and second round.
The Waves are in 10th place with a total of 619 (306-313) at the par-72 San Luis Obispo Country Club. Twelve of the 15 teams were able to finish the second round before darkness set in.
PLAYER SCORES
- Senior Hira Naveed (Perth, Australia) is tied for 15th place at 150 (72-78). She had four birdies, three in the first round
- Freshman Kathrine Chan (Richmond, B.C., Canada) is tied for 36th at 154 (79-75).
- Playing as an individual, freshman Sifan He (Shanghai, China) is tied for 44th, though she has yet to complete the second round.
- Senior Patricia Wong (Walnut, Calif./Walnut HS) is tied for 57th at 158 (79-79).
- Junior Momoka Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) is 59th at 159 (78-81).
- Senior Hannah Haythorne (Honolulu, Hawai'i/IMG Academy) is tied for 60th at 160 (77-83).
