WAVEPOINTS
• Coming off arguably its best two games of the season, the Pepperdine men's basketball team looks to keep its success going at Pacific on Saturday evening.
• The Waves are coming off a 25-point victory at Portland — their largest margin of victory in a conference game since 2002.
• Colbey Ross was named WCC Player of the Week on Monday after scoring a career-high 29 points in last Saturday's win over Saint Mary's, which included 11 points in overtime.
• Ross is fifth in the WCC in scoring (18.9) and first in assists (7.4). Nationally, he's sixth in assists and first in free throws made (148) and attempted (176). He already made Pepperdine's top 10 lists for single-season assists and free throws made.
• In league games only, Kameron Edwards ranks fourth in scoring (18.1) and third in rebounding (7.8). He's coming off a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double in the win at Portland.
• Overall, the Waves lead the WCC in three-pointers made per game (9.3) and three-point percentage (38.1%). Pepperdine has made 35 three-pointers over the last three games.
• In league games only, the Waves lead the conference in both three-point offense (40.5%) and three-point defense (26.6%).
• Fourteen times this season, it's been a five-point game or less in the final five minutes. Nine times this season, it's been a three-point game or less in the final minute.
• Lorenzo Romar has helped elevate the Waves as he begins his second stint as head coach. He recorded his milestone 400th career victory on January 12 at San Diego.
• The Waves matched their 2017-18 win total of six in their 10th game, and surpassed it with their seventh win in the 14th game. Their 10th win gave them double-digit wins for the first time since 2015-16.
• The Waves return home to face Santa Clara and San Diego next week.

WAVECASTS — Saturday's game can be listened to online with WaveCasts at PepperdineWaves.com. Veteran play-by-play man Al Epstein, a 2015 Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame inductee, will be behind the microphone (now in his 34th season, this will be his 1,026th consecutive broadcast for the Waves).

WATCH — Saturday's game will be shown everywhere on TheW.tv. Dave Friedman and Dave Miller are the announcers.

PEPPERDINE — Pepperdine boasts a one-of-a-kind athletic department with unprecedented success for a school of its size. The Waves have won NCAA Division I championships in five different men's sports — one of just 18 schools to have accomplished this feat — and nine overall. Of this elite group, Pepperdine has the smallest undergraduate enrollment, is the only school without football and is the only university that has not been affiliated with a "major" conference. The Waves have won a total of 25 team or individual national championships in their history. Pepperdine has also earned the Division I-AAA All-Sports Trophy, an award based on postseason success that's given to the top non-football school, three times (most recently in 2011-12). The Waves have produced 205 conference championships, 318 All-Americans and 53 Olympians. Located in scenic Malibu, California, the university overlooks the Pacific Ocean and its campus and athletic facilities are regularly voted among the nation's most beautiful. Pepperdine, which is affiliated with the Church of Christ, ranks #46 overall on U.S. News and World Report's list of America's best colleges.
