Dilworth and Kosa Named NCAA All-Tournament

Malibu, Calif. – After helping the Pepperdine men's water polo team to a finish in the national semifinal, Chris Dilworth and Balazs Kosa were named to the NCAA All-Tournament team.
Dilworth (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Thousand Oaks HS) scored six goals against UC Davis in Thursday's quarterfinal to put the Waves into the semifinal on Saturday. He then added a goal and two assists in the semifinal against Pacific to tie for the team lead in goals with seven, earning himself first team honors.
Kosa (Budapest, Hungary/Csik Ferenc Altalanos Iskola es Gimnazium) had four goals and two assists in the quarterfinal game before adding another three goals and three assists in the semifinal game to secure a spot on the second team. He led the Waves in total points in the championship with 12.
The Waves' semifinal finish in the tournament was the best since the 1997 national championship.
