Pepperdine Head Coach Sylvia Mosqueda said: "It was a bit of a rough day. Karl looked fantastic; however, some runners went out too fast and then couldn't get back up to the front. It wasn't the placing that what we planned as a team, but we have two weeks going into regionals and I have to focus on that. As for the women's side, Skyler and Key ran exceptionally well. It's all about building, for them too and now looking towards Regionals."
