SIMI VALLEY, California – The Pepperdine men's golf team sent four players to compete as individuals at CSUN's Bill Cullum Invitational this week, and all four finished in the top 12, led by
Clay Feagler's tie for second place.

All 12 of the Waves' rounds were at or below-par over two days at the par-72 Wood Ranch Golf Club. In fact, had the four Waves been competing as a team – without the benefit of a throwaway score – their total of 33-under would have been good for second place overall (San Diego State won the event by 22 strokes at 40-under).

PLAYER SCORES
	- Senior Clay Feagler (Laguna Niguel, Calif./Dana Hills HS) tied for second place with a 13-under 203 (70-66-67). He had a total of 15 birdies for the tournament. His 6-under 66 in the second round included five birdies and an eagle, and he had seven birdies during today's 5-under. His 14th career top-10 finish moved him into a tie for 10th place on the Waves' all-time list.

	- Freshman Dylan Menante (Carlsbad, Calif./Sage Creek HS) tied for sixth place with a 9-under 207 (66-69-72). He had a team-high total of 18 birdies, eight of which came during his 6-under first round.

	- Junior Austin Murphy (Morgan Hill, Calif./Bellarmine College Preparatory) tied for ninth place with a 6-under 210 (71-70-69). He had five birdies in each of the first two rounds and six in today's final round. This was his first career top-10 finish.

	- Sophomore Derek Hitchner (Minneapolis, Minn./The Blake School) tied for 12th with a 5-under 211 (70-70-71). He had 15 birdies overall, including seven in the first round.
