PALO ALTO, California – The Pepperdine women's golf team wrapped up its fall season with a 16th-place finish after Sunday's final round at the Stanford Intercollegiate.
The Waves posted a three-day total of 894 (293-302-299) at the par-71 Stanford Golf Course. The tournament boasted an impressive field and the six of the top seven teams were from the Pac-12.
PLAYER SCORES
- Senior Momoka Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) tied for 50th place at 222 (70-79-73). She had three birdies in her final round.
- Freshman Reese Guzman (Kahului, Hawai'i/Maui HS) tied for 55th at 223 (77-74-72). She had two birdies today and posted the Waves' best final-round score.
- Junior Megan Dennis (Bedfordshire, United Kingdom/Florida Tech) tied for 65th at 226 (73-75-78). She had one birdie on Sunday.
- Freshman Alexa Melton (Covina, Calif./South Hills HS) also tied for 65th at 226 (73-77-76). She had three birdies in her final round.
- Sophomore Sifan He (Shanghai, China) tied for 88th at 241 (83-76-82). She had two birdies today.
UP NEXT
The Waves resume play in early February with the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, California.
