Second-Round Results 
STILLWATER, Oklahoma " Pepperdine junior Hira Naveed improved by two strokes from Friday to Saturday during the second round of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships.
Naveed (Perth, Australia) has a two-day total of 158 (80-78) and is tied for 103rd place out of 132 golfers at the extremely tough par-72 Karsten Creek Golf Club.
Naveed had one birdie on Saturday and it came on the par-3 third hole. She had runs of three straight pars from 8-10 and four straight to close out the round on 15-18.
For Sunday's third round, Naveed will start on the #10 tee at 1:10 p.m. CT. At the conclusion of the third round, the field will be cut to the top 15 teams and the top nine individuals from non-advancing teams. The fourth and final round of stroke play is Monday.
Naveed, a junior, qualified for the NCAA Championships as an individual after tying for sixth place at the NCAA San Francisco Regional. This is her second straight NCAA appearance, as she tied for 32nd place last year. Naveed is a three-time All-WCC first team honoree who is ranked 74th nationally by Golfstat.
In the team standings, UCLA (-3) has a five-shot lead over Alabama (+2). Three players " Jennifer Kupcho of Wake Forest, Bianca Pagdanganan of Arizona and Cheyenne Knight of Alabama " are tied for the individual lead at 5-under.
