April 17, 2018 Second-Round Results 
SANTEE, California " The Pepperdine women's golf team will head into the final round of the West Coast Conference Championships with a five-shot lead over BYU, as the Waves extended their advantage during Tuesday's second round.
The Waves began the day with a one-shot edge, and with the help of a 1-under 71 by Hira Naveed, the lead grew thanks to a two-day total of 600 (303-297) at the par-72 Carlton Oaks Golf Club. Defending champion BYU is at 605 and San Francisco is in third at 613.
Pepperdine has won a WCC-record 17 titles though the Waves are looking for their first championship since 2015.

- Junior Hira Naveed (Perth, Australia) went from a tie for seventh and into sole possession of third place. She is one of just three players to have a below-par round (all came on Tuesday). Naveed is one shot back of the leaders with a 2-over 146 (75-71). Her second round included four birdies.
- Sophomore Momoka Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) is tied for fifth place at 149 (74-75). She had two birdies on Tuesday.
- Senior Tatiana Wijaya (Jakarta, Indonesia) is in seventh place at 151 (74-77). She had two birdies.
- Senior Katherine Zhu (Vancouver, B.C.) moved up 10 spots thanks to a big improvement between rounds. She's tied for 11th place at 156 (82-74). She had one birdie but just three bogeys.
- Junior Hannah Haythorne (Honolulu, Hawai'i/IMG Academy) is tied for 13th at 157 (80-77). She had one birdie.
