Final Results

KANE'OHE, O'ahu " Momoka Kobori and Hira Naveed turned in top-15 performances to lead the Pepperdine women's golf team at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, which wrapped up play on Wednesday.

The Waves came in ninth place with a three-round total of 937 (317-311-309) at the par-72 Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course. Play proved to be difficult, as the average score for the entire field was 80.33 for the tournament.

PLAYER SCORES

• Sophomore Momoka Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) tied for ninth place at 226 (77-71-78), but unfortunately her score didn't count for the team because she was playing as an individual.
• Junior Hira Naveed (Perth, Australia) moved up six spots in the final round and into a tie for 14th place at 229 (78-76-75).
• Junior Hannah Haythorne (Honolulu, Hawai'i/IMG Academy) tied for 30th place at 234 (78-79-77).
• Senior Tatiana Wijaya (Jakarta, Indonesia) tied for 35th place at 237 (80-77-80). She had two of the Waves' three birdies on the day.
• Junior Patricia Wong (Walnut, Calif./Walnut HS) tied for 44th place at 240 (83-79-78).
• Senior Katherine Zhu (Vancouver, B.C.) was 52nd at 243 (81-83-79).
