MALIBU, Calif. – The success from Friday at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool carried over to Saturday for the Pepperdine women's swim and dive team. They defeated cross-town rival Loyola Marymount 1,131-959 at the meet.
Five individuals and two relay teams took first place in their respective races for the Waves on Friday, and many more took solid positions.
"Our ladies came back today and raced very well," said Head Coach Joe Spahn. "We got the ball rolling with a solid 200 medley relay which carried into the sweep of the 100 IM and 200 breaststroke. We had a lot of very solid swims today. I am very happy with this weekend, but now it's back to work to clean up a few details."
