Final Results

NAPA, California " Momoka Kobori finished in a tie for 13th place to lead the Pepperdine women's golf team at the Silverado Showdown. The Waves wrapped up play on Tuesday with a tie for ninth in the team standings.

Pepperdine ended with a three-day total of 879 (301-287-291) at the par-72 Silverado Resort.

Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand), a freshman, picked up her second career top-20 finish with an even-par 216 (75-70-71). She recorded her second and third below-par rounds of the season at this event, including a 1-under 71 on Tuesday that included three birdies. She posted two bogeys early in her round, then later birdied three out of five holes before finishing with four straight pars.

Junior Tatiana Wijaya (Jakarta, Indonesia) tied for 26th at 219 (74-70-75), sophomore Hira Naveed (Perth, Australia) tied for 41st at 222 (75-73-74), junior Katherine Zhu (Vancouver, B.C.) tied for 49th at 224 (77-74-73) and sophomore Patricia Wong (Walnut, Calif./Walnut HS) tied for 64th at 229 (80-76-73).

Kobori and Zhu both finished with a team-high 10 birdies for the tournament. Zhu had four on Tuesday.

This was the Waves' final tournament before the West Coast Conference Championships, which will be hosted by BYU next week (April 20-22) at Riverside Country Club in Provo, Utah.
