Final Results

FAIRFAX, California -- The Pepperdine women's golf team wrapped up the Meadow Club Intercollegiate with a seventh-place finish, while sophomore Hira Naveed led the Waves with a tie for 12th.

The Waves had a two-day total of 896 (298-301-297) at the par-72 Meadow Club. All six teams that finished ahead of #36 Pepperdine are ranked in the top 45.

Naveed (Perth, Australia) recorded her fourth top-20 finish of the season and ended with a 4-over 220 (70-76-74).

Junior Katherine Zhu (Vancouver, B.C.) tied for 23rd at 224 (75-76-73), freshman Momoka Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) tied for 30th at 226 (79-73-74), junior Tatiana Wijaya (Jakarta, Indonesia) tied for 40th at 229 (77-76-76) and sophomore Patricia Wong (Walnut, Calif./Walnut HS) also tied for 40th at 229 (76-77-76).

Wong had a team-high four birdies during the final round, and they came during a five-hole stretch. Naveed and Zhu both had three. Naveed and Wong both had nine birdies over the three rounds.

The Waves are next at San Diego State's March Mayhem from March 20-22.
