First-Round Results 
SAN LUIS OBISPO, California " Pepperdine freshman Momoka Kobori stands in second place late in the second round of the Bruin Wave Invitational, as the women's golf tournament was halted on Monday evening due to darkness.
Teams will resume play at 8 a.m. at the San Luis Obispo Country Club, and then move right into the third and final round with the current pairings.
Golfstat currently has the Waves in eighth place at 31-over. The Waves are only nine shots out of second place, but top-ranked Stanford has opened a big lead. The Cardinal are at 9-over and are in front by 13 strokes.
Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) is at 1-under through 15 holes of the second round. She had third birdies in the first round for a 1-under 72. She began the second round with 10 straight pars and has one birdie for an even-par score thus far.
Also in the lineup, sophomore Hira Naveed (Perth, Australia) is tied for 25th at 8-over, junior Tatiana Wijaya (Jakarta, Indonesia) is tied for 42nd at 12-over, junior Katherine Zhu (Vancouver, B.C.) is tied for 54th at 14-over, and senior Alessandra Arza (Asuncion, Paraguay) is tied for 64th at 16-over.
Playing as individuals, sophomore Patricia Wong (Walnut, Calif./Walnut HS) is tied for ninth at 4-over, and sophomore Hannah Haythorne (Honolulu, Hawai'i/IMG Academy) is tied for 42nd at 12-over.
