HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colorado " Patricia Wong posted a career-best finish and Katherine Zhu equaled her best, highlighting the Pepperdine women's golf team's showing at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, which concluded on Sunday.
Wong tied for second place while Zhu, thanks to a 5-under 67, moved up to a tie for fourth place.
Despite the team's best round of the tournament, a 4-under 284, it wasn't enough to get the Waves out of a sixth-place finish. Pepperdine, which won this event last year, ended with a 1-over 865 (293-288-284) at the par-72 Highlands Ranch Golf Club.
