MALIBU, Calif. " This Week: The No. 7 Pepperdine men's water polo team hosts No. 11 San Jose State in a Golden Coast Conference matchup on Friday at 6 p.m., then travels to both Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and No. 17 Pomona-Pitzer on Sunday for non-conference games at 3 pm and 7 pm, respectively.
Game #25: Friday (Oct. 27) vs. No. 11 San Jose State at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool in Malibu, Calif.: No. 7 Pepperdine (14-10, 1-1 GCC) vs. No. 11 San Jose State (13-8, 1-2 GCC) at 6:00 p.m.
Game #26: Saturday (Oct. 28) at Claremont Mudd-Scripps at Matt M. Axelrood Pool in Claremont, Calif.: No. 7 Pepperdine (14-10, 1-1 GCC) vs. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (10-12, 5-4 SCIAC) at 3:00 p.m.
Game #27: Saturday (Oct. 28) at No. 17 Pomona-Pitzer at Haldeman Aquatics Center in Pomona, Calif.: No. 7 Pepperdine (14-10, 1-1 GCC) vs. No. 17 Pomona-Pitzer (16-9, 7-1 SCIAC) at 7:00 p.m.

Golden Coast Conference: The Waves continue GCC play this week against San Jose State. Last year, the Waves ended the regular season in fourth place, before sweeping through the conference tournament and capturing the inaugural title.
Series vs. San Jose State: PEPP 11-3 - The Waves and Spartans have met just 14 times, with the last coming earlier this year during the Aggie Roundup, which the Waves won, 10-4.
Series vs. Claremont Mudd-Scripps: PEPP 22-0 - The Waves have won every meeting with the Stags, including a win earlier this year.
Series vs. Pomona-Pitzer: PEPP 10-0 - The Waves have won every meeting with the Sagehens, the last coming in 2015.
Last Week: The Waves took two losses to Pacific and Stanford. The two losses dropped them to 14-10 on the year.
Rankings: The Waves are currently ranked No. 7 in the nation by the Collegiate Water Polo Association. This is the highest ranking the team has achieved on the year.
GCC Player of the Week: Zack Rhodes was awarded co-GCC Player of the Week for Oct. 19 after a 17-save outing against Long Beach State. Rhodes is the second Wave to win the award this year, joining Sam Paur.
