Oct. 20, 2017 STOCKTON, Calif. - The No. 7 Pepperdine men's water polo team traveled to No. 5 Pacific for a Golden Coast Conference matchup on Friday night, falling 12-6 to the Tigers. Marko Asic had two goals in the loss.

Asic (Laguna Niguel, Calif./Dana Hills HS) scored in both the second and third quarters, on five-meter penalty shots each time. Along with Asic, Mark Urban (Budapest, Hungary/Diablo Valley College), Kenneth Keller (Long Beach, Calif./ Los Alamitos HS), Mate Toth (Balatonalmadi, Hungary/Szilagyi Erzsebet Boarding School) and George Mooney (Whittier, Calif./La Serna HS) scored for the Waves. The offense of Pacific was just too much for Pepperdine, answering each the Waves tried to make a run.
