
Waves Face Georgetown in Dual Meet

MALIBU, Calif. - The Pepperdine women's swimming and diving team resumed competition this week, hosting Georgetown for the team's final dual meet of the season.
The Waves scored 114 points against the Hoyas as the resumed competition after over a month off. Georgetown scored 178 points in the dual meet.
Pepperdine has two meets left before the PCSC Championships, heading to LMU for the Lions Invite and then hosting the PCSC Time Trials. The PCSC Championships will be held Feb. 8-11. The Waves have had one dual meet against Cal Poly and two against San Diego State this season.
Pepperdine posted 11 top three performances on the day and grabbed six second-place finishes. Khloe McCarthy placed second in the 200 free and Megan Minor grabbed second in the 100 backstroke. Julianna Chan took second in the 100 breaststroke, and Caroline Boone placed second in the 100 free. Gabrielle Mathys grabbed second place in the 500 free and in the 100 butterfly Julia Sneden placed second as well.
