
Davis on Portland's NBA Summer League Roster

MALIBU, Calif. " Pepperdine's Stacy Davis has earned a spot with the Portland Trail Blazers' NBA Summer League team, which begins play this weekend in Las Vegas.
Davis is one of nine rookies on the Blazers' 17-player roster, which mostly consists of free agents, draft picks and players with a year or two of NBA experience. Portland's first three games are Saturday (July 9) against Phoenix at 1 p.m., Sunday (July 10) against San Antonio at 7 p.m. and next Tuesday (July 12) against Utah at 1:30 p.m. Games will be shown on the ESPN family of networks or NBA TV.
As a senior, Davis (Laveen, Ariz./Fairfax HS) earned All-West Coast Conference first team honors for the third straight year and NABC All-District second team status for the second straight season. He finished the season averaging 15.0 points and 9.1 rebounds. He ranked 12th and second, respectively, in the WCC in those two categories. He had a career-best 15 double-doubles in 2015-16, the most by any Wave since 1994 and tied for the third-most in program single-season history.
Davis wrapped up his career as one of the program's all-time greats, highlighted by his becoming the school's all-time leading scorer (1,786 points). Also on the career records list, he ranks second in rebounds (994), second in free throws made (503), tied for second in games played (125), third in minutes played (3,939), fifth in double-doubles (35), eighth in field goals made (607) and 10th in blocked shots (87)
He became the first Wave ever to lead the team in rebounding all four seasons.
