
Waves Close Semester at San Diego State

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Pepperdine women's swimming and diving team closed out competition for the semester with a dual meet against San Diego State.
Abby Crawford and Jessica King swam personal bests on the day in the 50 free and 100 free. Crawford posted a :26.20 in the 50 free and King swam a :54.70 in the 100 free.
Some of the top finishers and scorers for the waves were Tayler Pinkerton taking second in the 1000 free and Erin Himes and Sydney Brault taking third and fourth in the same event respectively.
Caroline Boone finished fourth in the 200 free and Ryane Skinner took fifth. In the 100 breaststroke Julianna Chan took third and Anna Riekhof grabbed fourth. Also grabbing a top three finish was Rachel Wilt in the 50 free and Morgan Rocsztoczy placed fifth.
In the 100 free King's season best time placed her fourth and Boone grabbed fifth place. Megan Minor was the Waves' lone top five finish in the 200 backstroke, placing fourth. Lauren Allard placed third in the 200 breaststroke and Riekhof finished fourth.
Joi Eckhard and Laura Graziano notched top five finishes in the 500 free, placing fourth and fifth respectively, and Julia Sneden grabbed fourth in the 100 fly. Megan Henley and Sneden rounded out the Waves' top five finishes in the 200 IM, grabbing fourth and fifth.
Pepperdine resumes competition on January 6 when they host Georgetown for a dual meet in Malibu. That meet is scheduled for 10 a.m.
