LA QUINTA, Calif. - Frederick Wedel had the Pepperdine men's golf team's best round of the day as the Waves wrapped up The Prestige at PGA West on Wednesday with a 12th-place finish.

Freshman Anthony Cecere (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif./St. Margaret's Episcopal School) finished below-par for the tournament, his first time doing so as a collegian. He led the Waves for the second straight tournament, tying for 28th place with a 1-under 215 (72-71-72). His third round included five birdies.
