SAMMAMISH, Wash. " Sophomore Tatiana Wijaya and freshman Patricia Wong of the Pepperdine women's golf team are both tied for ninth place after Tuesday's first two rounds of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational.

The Waves are currently tied for fourth place with West Coast Conference rival Gonzaga with a score of 597 (299-298) at the par-72 Sahalee Country Club. California (581), San Diego State (591) and Washington (594) make up the top three. The third and final round is on Wednesday.

Wijaya (Jakarta, Indonesia) and Wong (Walnut, Calif./Walnut HS) both shot 3-over 147s. During her 1-under 71 in the morning, Wijaya (71-76) had four birdies, including three in the final six holes. Wong (75-72) had a total of six birdies on the day, including four during her even-par 72 in the afternoon.

Sophomore Katherine Zhu (Vancouver, B.C.) is tied for 27th place at 151 (77-74), senior Marissa Chow (Honolulu, Hawaii/Iolani HS) is tied for 34th place at 152 (76-76) and junior Alessandra Arza (Asuncion, Paraguay) is tied for 40th at 154 (77-77).
