Round 2 Results 
TEMPE, Ariz. - With a 1-over 73, junior Kaitlin Drolson moved up 24 spots in the individual standings after the second round of the PING/ASU Invitational to lead the Pepperdine women's golf team on Saturday.
Competing without their #1 player, the Waves are in 14th place as a team at 606 (301-305). The tournament features an outstanding field, as 12 of the teams ahead of Pepperdine are in Golfstat's top 50, while four are in the top 10 and eight are in the top 25. Play finishes up with the final round on Sunday at the par-72 Karsten Golf Course.
Drolson (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Torrey Pines HS) went from a tie for 63rd place all the way up to a tie for 39th place thanks to her second-round score. She has a 6-over 150 (77-73) over the two days. She was 3-over after seven holes on Saturday but recorded two birdies and nine pars the rest of the way.
Senior Taylore Karle (Scottsdale, Ariz./Laurel Springs Academy) is tied for 46th place at 151 (73-78), freshman Grace Na (Alameda, Calif./Alameda HS) is tied for 56th place at 152 (74-78), freshmen Liv Cheng (Auckland, New Zealand) is tied for 61st place at 153 (77-76) and freshman Danielle Gillaspy (Santa Maria, Calif./St. Joseph's HS) is tied for 76th place at 157 (77-80).
Pepperdine's season scoring leader, sophomore Danielle Kang (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Westlake HS), was competing at the LPGA's Kraft Nabisco Championship on Thursday and Friday.
