NCAA Fall Preview Round 2 Results 
BRYAN, Texas - Senior Taylore Karle and sophomore Danielle Kang each shot 2-over 74s to lead the Pepperdine women's golf team during the second round of the NCAA Fall Preview on Tuesday.
The event is being contested at the par-72 Traditions Club, site of the 2011 NCAA Championships. Fifteen of the participating teams placed in the top 25 at last year's NCAA Championships and all 18 teams are ranked in Golfweek's preseason top 30.
The Waves improved their score by four strokes on Tuesday but are in 18th place with a score of 610 (307-303). The third and final round is on Wednesday.
Kang (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Westlake HS), who is coming off a victory this summer at the 2010 U.S. Women's Amateur, had her second straight 74, which has put her into a tie for 34th place at 148.
Karle (Scottsdale, Ariz./Laurel Springs Academy) moved up more than 10 spots after improving her score by four strokes. She is tied for 62nd at 152 (78-74).
Senior Martine de Gannes (Diego Martin, Trinidad) is tied for 70th place at 154 (78-76), junior Kaitlin Drolson (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Torrey Pines HS) is tied for 77th place at 157 (78-79) and freshman Liv Cheng (Auckland, New Zealand) is tied for 90th place at 165 (77-88).
Kang, Karle and de Gannes each recorded three birdies during their rounds on Tuesday.
