Pepperdine-Saint Mary's Box Score 
MALIBU, Calif. - The Pepperdine men's basketball team lost 76-49 at Saint Mary's on Thursday night in West Coast Conference action.
Junior forward Mychel Thompson (Portland, Ore./Stoneridge Prep) had 11 points, four rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots to lead the Waves, who dropped to 7-22 overall and 3-10 in the WCC. Junior forward Jonathan Dupre' (Houston, Texas/Collin County CC) added nine points and five rebounds.
Saint Mary's (23-5, 10-3) got 20 points and 10 rebounds from Omar Samhan. The Gaels outshot the Waves 46.3% to 34.5% and held a 34-17 halftime lead.
Pepperdine, which has no seniors and has a roster where 11 of the 15 players are underclassmen, was led in scoring by its junior class for only the second time this season tonight. The sophomore class has led the way in 27 of 29 games.
