L.A. Legends Hire Kaufman for Head Coaching Job

“We believe Twila’s coaching and recruiting ability, as well as her playing experience to be a great compliment to our young team,” said Legends’ general manager Josh Hodges in a statement following Kaufman’s hiring.

“I feel more than prepared to take on this job,” Kaufman said. “I’m lucky and blessed to have received this opportunity, and I couldn’t have received more encouragement from (Pepperdine head coach) Tim (Ward) as he’s someone who truly supports staff development. I’m already looking forward to the upcoming fall season when I can bring back to Pepperdine what I learn with the Legends.”
