One of thirteen players drafted by the Dream, Lacy will be a member of the inaugral roster for the new WNBA team,
Coach Meadors described Lacy as "another big, versatile player at 6-3 who can play either the four or the five. She's very aggressive, hustles all the time and runs the floor extemely well."
Lacy played for the Waves from 2001-05 and was the first ever WCC women’s basketball player to make a WNBA roster when she won a spot with the Phoenix Mercury in 2006. Lacy went on to be part of the Mercury’s 2007 WNBA Championship squad.
