The University of Southern California water polo team advanced to tomorrow's semi-finals after defeating UC Irvine, 8-6, in the first round of the MPSF tournament. UCI got off to a slow start with the Trojans up 3-0 at the end of the first period. The Anteaters had a strong fourth period outscoring the Trojans 5-1. Brandon Johnson (UCI) scored a hat-trick.
