Rodriguez Earns Service Award From City of Malibu

Rodriguez, who has coached Waves baseball for the past seven years, was recognized for his offerings and assistance to the community. The Pepperdine baseball team holds coaching clinics for Malibu Little League as well as sponsoring and participating in Little League days at Pepperdine baseball games. Aside from coaching, Rodriguez has helped fundraise for the organization by donating baseball memorabilia from his own personal collection. The fundraising activities help offset the costs of running the youth baseball programs each year.
Known for one of the best baseball camps on the West Coast, Rodriguez and his staff continue to hold multiple camps throughout each summer for young, aspiring baseball players. During the Waves regular season, it is not uncommon to see a local Malibu Little Leaguer suited up as a batboy for Pepperdine.
