Stanford (10-6, 2-3), coming off of a three-game losing streak, mounted an aggressive offense from the beginning of the match. Stanford’s Drac Wigo scored the first goal just thirty seconds into the game on an extra man opportunity. Freshman Caleb Hamilton (
Two more goals in the second quarter by the Cardinal offense gave Stanford a 3-1 lead. Hamilton’s second goal of the game put the Waves back in competition, but 25 seconds later, Stanford scored two more goals to end the half 6-3.
Third quarter saw both teams scoring two goals, but two goals by Stanford’s Forrest Schwartz, 28 second apart, gave the Cardinal a 10-5 lead in the fourth. Clayton Snyder (
