MALIBU, Calif. -- Senior guard Shandrika Lee was named the WCC Player of the Week after leading the Waves to victories over Portland and Gonzaga, officials from the conference announced today. The Moreno Valley, CA native averaged 21.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 3.5 apg, and 2.0 spg in leading the Waves to their sixth win in seven games. Lee made 13-of-24 (.542) from the field, including 7-of-14 (.500) from beyond the arc. In conference play this season, she has connected on 19-of-20 free throws. Lee is the first Pepperdine women's basketball player named "WCC Player of the Week" this season.
