The Pepperdine men's water polo team rebounded from a loss to No. 5 California on Saturday to register a 7-5 victory over No. 15 Pacific in Stockton on Sunday The win improved the Waves to 10-11 on the year and 2-4 in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF).
Grant Miller and Adam Hewko powered the Waves offensive attack with two goals each. Tom Stricklen, Tom Jasper and Nick Corjon each contributed a goal as the Waves snapped a five-game losing streak. Michael Lee stepped up as goalkeeper in Sunday's match, holding the Tigers to only five goals while collecting a season high six saves.
