No. 10 Pepperdine Finishes Weekend with Three Wins

Pepperdine completed the sweep this weekend with two more victories on Sunday against Claremont McKenna and Harvard. The Waves dominated both games winning the first 8-2 before defeating Harvard 13-7 later that day. Pepperdine continues play this weekend with two league matches against
In Sunday's first match the Waves jumped all over Claremont McKenna as they scored six unanswered goals in the first half. Both teams scored once in each of the final two quarters as Pepperdine went on to win the match 8-2.
Scoring was led by sophomore Matt Hahn who had a season high three goals in the match. He was supported by Josh Acosta, who had two goals, and Adam Hewko, Matt Digges and Nick Corjon who each tallied one.
In the second match, the Waves picked up right where they left off going up 6-3 at the half against Harvard. Pepperdine put the match out of reach in the third quarter scoring five goals, giving them an 11-4 lead heading into the final quarter. The Waves went on to win by the final score of 13-7.
Eight different players scored for the Waves in Sunday's second match. Grant Miller had a season-high four goals while Hewko and Corjon each scored two. Acosta was joined by Jason Lantgen, Tom Jasper, Trevor Goyette, and Doug Mann who each scored in the match.
After the three wins this weekend the Waves now boast a 9-6 record and are 1-0 in league play.
