Pepperdine University Athletics

Kasey Lapan will be entering his first season as a graduate assistant with the Waves in 2025-2026, following two seasons as a student manager.

After transferring from the University of Arizona, Lapan graduated from Pepperdine with a degree in Sports Administration, maintaining a 3.93 GPA. He is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Business Analytics at Pepperdine’s Graziadio Business School.  

During his time as a student manager, Lapan focused on player development, working closely with 4 players who went on to receive All-WCC honors. (Todorovic, Mallette, Ajayi, Porter) Lapan also worked for the women’s basketball team as a scout player in the 2024-2025 season.

In his role, Lapan will serve as the de facto video coordinator for the Waves.
