Pepperdine University Athletics

Joey joined the team as the assistant director of development in February of 2024. 

In this position, he builds relationships with former student-athletes, parents, alumni and friends of the university to cultivate support for Pepperdine’s 17 NCAA Division I teams.

Before arriving at Pepperdine, Joey worked at Arizona State University from 2021-2024 in their ticket sales department as a ticket service and retention consultant. There he helped develop and maintain relationships with season ticket holders and fans across all 11 ticketed sports. 

Originally from Moorpark, Calif., Swett spent two years at Moorpark College before transferring to Grand Canyon University and earning his bachelor’s degree in sports management in 2021.
