Jared Green joined Pepperdine Athletics in July 2025 as Associate Athletic Director for Development.
In his role, Green oversees all development initiatives, including the Waves Excellence Fund, sport-specific giving, donor events, and major gift fundraising efforts while building strong relationships with alumni, parents, and friends of the University. He also serves as the sport administrator for the baseball program.
Green arrives in Malibu with a strong background in collegiate athletics fundraising and alumni engagement, having led development efforts for departments at the Division I level over the past five years.
He came to Malibu from Indiana University-Indianapolis, where he served as Assistant Athletic Director for Development from 2021-25. In this role, he led all fundraising, alumni relations, and corporate sponsorship efforts for the Jaguars. During his tenure in Indianapolis, the department experienced its most successful fundraising year in history, surpassing $730,000 in FY25 and eclipsing $1 million in total revenue across development, sponsorships and ticketing for the first time.
Green was instrumental in increasing NIL opportunities for IU Indy student-athletes and helped establish multiple sport-specific endowed scholarships. Green orchestrated the creation of the Carroll Society, which inspired philanthropic giving to IU-Indy Athletics while recognizing the department's most loyal supporters. He also served as sport supervisor for the men's soccer and women's tennis programs.
Prior to his time in Indianapolis, he held the same role at Austin Peay University, where he oversaw all athletics fundraising strategies and helped secure more than $450,000 in lead gifts to support capital projects and facility upgrades.
His professional journey also includes leadership roles with the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame as Director or Development & Member Engagement and Ball State Athletics as Manager of Ticket Sales & Fan Engagement.
Green's start in the industry came as a manager and bullpen catcher for the Indiana University baseball team before becoming a marketing and ticket sales intern in the Hoosiers' athletic department.
A native of Huntington Indiana, Green earned his bachelor's degree in sport marketing and management from Indiana University in 2016 before receiving his master's in sport administration from Ball State in 2019. Green and his wife Ashlynn have two children, Cali and Jaxon, along with a dog, Chloe.
