Devin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences who is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for all students—athletes and non-athletes alike. Devin joined Pepperdine University in 2024 as an athletics counselor, where she helps students and student athletes explore challenges that may be holding them back from becoming the version of themselves they want to be—both in and out of sport.
Devin has experience working with a wide range of student needs and identities. She spent 22 months at the University of Notre Dame working in their counseling and health center, supporting diverse students across academic, personal, and athletic domains. Prior to that, she worked in behavioral health settings, middle schools, and a domestic violence center.
Devin’s approach is grounded in faith, care, authenticity, honesty, and genuineness—core values that shape every aspect of her work. She utilizes a range of evidence-based modalities tailored to each student’s unique needs, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
