Colton Huyck joined the facilities operations team in April of 2025.
In his previous role as a graduate assistant at Saint Mary’s, Huyck has prepared athletic venues for NCAA Division I competition in soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball. He also manages game-day staff, serves as the primary liaison for visiting teams and officials, and ensures a safe and welcoming environment for all event attendees.
Huyck also worked with Los Angeles Football Club during its award-winning 2023 season as part of the Match Operations team. There, he assisted in the setup and breakdown of locker rooms and on-field equipment, supported visiting team needs, and supervised a team of youth ball attendants.
Before that, Huyck served as a game day intern for the Omaha Storm Chasers and Union Omaha in 2022, where he helped facilitate promotions, box office operations, and group area preparation for a stadium of 9,000. He also gained experience at the University of Idaho in both athletics event staffing and football and basketball film operations.
While studying sport management at Washington State University, Huyck served as marketing director for a student-run charity event benefiting the WSU Athletic Program, and earned an associate degree from Santa Barbara City College before transferring.
Originally from Santa Barbara, Calif., Huyck graduated from Saint Mary’s College in December 2024 with a master’s in kinesiology. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management with a business minor from Washington State University in 2022.
